Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H Foundation Review

Lately I have been getting a lot of questions and compliments about my skin! I have to thank Lancome's foundation for the illusion of even skin colour, my good diet and sleeping habits for no breakouts.

Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H Foundation in Buff W

I've heard a lot about this foundation in the past being some famous YouTube guru's HG but I've never had a chance to try it out until now. I ALWAYS thought that the drug store ones are good enough, but after this, I have completely changed my mind!

Before

This is me before any makeup! It's a miserable and humid day (rainy for the rest of the week! Sandy go away!!) that we had to run some chores so it's a good indication on how well it will withstand rain.

After foundation

With complete makeup

As the weather turns cooler, I have not been setting my foundation with powder. Sometimes I do set it when it comes to tinted moisturizer or BB creams, but with this foundation, it is not required!

So we were running chores and it was very wet outside, hence I didn't get to take any pictures.

After 9 hours of wear

After a whole day of wear my makeup was still perfectly intact. I love how my skin looks in pictures <3. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this foundation if you are in a lookout for something new!

p/s: WINNER for the giveaway has been revealed on Twitter! Please check your DM so that I can mail it out as soon as possible.

Givenchy Healthy Glow Powder Review

Hi there! Weather is getting cold isn't it? I hope everyone stays warm and try not to catch a cold!

Since I've been busy working and trying to stay indoors as much as possible, I've gotten back to my old skin colour. At least as close as it can be..

During the Givenchy & Fendi launch that I was invited to few weeks ago, I was given a goody bag and in it there was this wonderful Givenchy healthy glow powder. I put off using it for awhile but I finally gave it a try last week and I have not been able to complete my daily makeup without it since then.

Givenchy Healthy Glow Powder in 3 Ambre

There are 3 colours in this line, so if you have darker skin than I do, it might work as a gorgeous highlighter instead of a bronzer.

Comes in his beautiful case

Whenever I'm at work I have gotten compliment on how nice my skin looks. I'm sure it's a combination of the new foundation that I've been using and the glow that this product provides me with.

As you can see that I am certainly lack in colour on my face, hence making it look rather flat and pale.

CLOSE UP

I use the ELF complexion brush to dust the powder across my cheeks, with the remaining I go across my forehead and sides of my nose.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Magic

To complete the look, I use a peachy pink blush and lightly go over the apples of my cheeks with the same brush. Sometimes I leave it as it is depending on the look I am going for.

Complete look with Blush

If you are thinking to get a glow during the colder months, you should definitely give the Givenchy Healthy Powder a go! I've been loving it and will definitely continue using it until I'm out!! :D:D

You can purchase this in store at Sephora or Sephora.com.

Tarte Baby It's Bold Outside Sets Review

Hi all! Before I begin my review today, please check out my last blog post to win some free makeup. Open to everyone! All you have to do is follow me on Twitter and tell me what you would like to see next on my blog. It's that simple :)

Back to our main topic today.. Tarte. I've been a great fan since I discovered their products about 2 years ago. Outside of North America I find that it is almost impossible to get their products, and if lucky enough, the products will cost a bomb!

Today I'm sharing a short review about the holiday sets that came out in Sephora. You'll be able to find this set in store and online.

Baby It's Bold Outside Makeup and Blush Set

The first set is one that comes with 24 FULL SIZE Amazonian clay eyeshadows, 8 maracuja lipglosses, 1 Amazonian clay blush in Shimmering Rose, 1 brush, 1 tester size mascara and a small finishing powder.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Shimmering Rose

This set is amazing for $70! The eyeshadows are super pigmented as well as the blush. Their Amazonian clay line it most well known for the longevity of the products. A little goes a long way :)

At first I was concerned that the lip glosses will be really crappy as the packaging looks like the ones you can find for little girl makeup sets. But no! They are amazing glosses despite the slightly cheap plastic container it comes in. I'm super stoked to have so many colours to play with.

The brush and the bag that it comes with are also very handy. Size is great, good for travelling and makeup gigs!

The blush set comes with 4 Amazonian Clay blushes (I LOVE THEM!) in colour Angelic, Fantastic, Magic, and Stellar. It's a great selection and fits most skin tones. Prior to this I only have Dollface, and this has made my blush collection so much better!!!

All in all, I highly recommend you to check it out in stores if Tarte is accessible to you. I'm sure you will fall in love with it!

Stay tune tomorrow for some Givenchy makeup review.
