Japanese Cosmetic Makeup Haul

I'm here today to share some products that I have purchased recently from Japan! I didn't have much time to shop so here are some of the products that I decided to try :)

Canmake Creme to Powder Foundation

Medium coverage and lovely packaging! Reminded me of those days when I used to be crazy about Sailor Moon! :)

Canmake Powder Blush

Affordable and great quality! Super pigmented so a little goes a long way.

Kiss Eyebrow Gel and Blush

Actually these 2 products came in a bigger set with a mascara remover with wand, black mascara, and also a lipstick. I like their lip products! If you have a chance to try you should :)

Love Liner Liquid in Brown

Very smooth application. It came in a set with a mascara but the mascara is really lousy...

Under Eye Highligther

Not too bad, but I think an eyeshadow will do the trick just as well.

Dolly Wink Black Liquid Liner

The infamous Dolly Wink! This is the first time I tried it and I'm really liking it so far. I find that the Love Liner and this is really similar so I'm sure there are other dupes out there if this is too expensive..

That's it for my short haul! If you want a detail review of any of the products, please leave a comment and I'll get back to you.

I'll be back soon with a drugstore haul and makeup tutorials.. Stay tune! :)

Bronze & Coral Makeup Tutorial

Hi everyone! Today I'm back with a summer themed makeup tutorial featuring bronzed eyes and coral lips!

Finish Look

Unfortunately my skin is not in its best condition and the pictures of myself are also not that great today.

I got frustrated!!

Before

Nontheless I'll still share this look with all of you :)

Sigma F80; Revlon Photo Ready Foundation in Nude

Like usual, prime your face with a primer/ moisturiser/ sunscreen and apply your favourite foundation. I am using the usual, although from time to time I do switch it up a little.

Physicians Formula Eye Brightening Eyeliner (Brown); Eye Strong Brow Pencil; Maybelline Falsies Mascara

Tight line your eyes using the Physicians formula eyeliner pencil and groom brows like usual.

NARS Soft Touch Shadow Pencil in Skorpios

Use a bronze colour base to prime your eyes. This will help to bring out the eyeshadow colours we are going to lay on later.

Tight lined + NARS Skorpios base

NAKED Palette (1)

Today I'll be using 3 colours from this palette, Smog (Dark Bronze), Sin (Shimmery Pinky Beige), and Virgin (Shimmery Beige). Feel free to use the eyeshadows you have in your collection. There is no need to buy this palette if you already have similar colours.

F21 Dual Ended Brush; Furless Blending Brush; ELF Eye Crease Brush; random Eyeshadow Brush

I really like the dual ended brush from Forever 21 but they no longer carry it in store. I bought this quite awhile ago now, although they constantly have new makeup tools, I'm not sure if the quality is similar to this one that I own.

Base colour (Smog)

First, use the eyeshadow brush and pick up a dark bronze colour and apply it 3/4 across the upper lid and 1/3 of the lower lash line. Leave the rest clean for the next colour.

Apply Sin (Shimmery Pinky Beige) + Blended

Use the ELF brush to apply colour Sin and blend out with the Furless Blending brush using a bit of Virgin (Shimmery Beige) colour.

Completed Eyes 1

Line your upper lash line with the same Physicians Formula eye pencil and apply mascara.

Completed Eyes 2

We're almost there!

Canmake Powder Cheeks in PW19; Tarte Mineral Bronzer in Park Ave Princess

Use the dual ended brush and apply a coral blush and contour lightly with a bronzer for a sunkissed look.

Without lip colour

Apply your favourite coral lip colour, I'll be using Revlon Lip Butter in 015 Tutti Fruitti.

Tadahhhhh!

That's it for today :) I'll see you tomorrow again with another makeup tutorial!

What's in my travel makeup bag?

Hello everyone! I'll be heading over to Forest today for 3 nights, so I thought to share the things that I've packed for this trip.

This is what it looks like inside

I got this Quo cork makeup bag from Shoppers Drugmart awhile ago for only $5 :). It's quite spacious and there are some slots on the side to hold my brushes.

I like this travel brushes because it contains most of the eye brushes that I would use! It actually also has a blending brush included but it's now being used.

FLTR: Spoolie, MAC Pencil Brush; Sigma E40; Elf Complexion Brush; Elf Powder Brush; Sigma F80

I also like to carry some extra brushes just in case! Sigma F80 is a must for foundation application.

ZA 2 Way Brightening Powder; Revlon Photo Ready in Nude

Kiss Nude Lipstick in 02; Etude House Pink/ Red Lipstick

Kiss lipsticks are super glossy and taste nice (don't eat it!). I bought it in Japan from Loft. The prices are quite high for a drug store make up therefore this is the only product I have from them.

Canmake blush in PW19; NYC Bronzer in Sunny

Biore UV Aqua Sunscreen; Maybelline Falsies Mascara

I'm really liking the mascara so far! It's performing really well compared to the others that I own and it does not require much work for full looking lashes. Though I wouldn't say that my lashes look like falsies.

Everything!

I like to bring the Smashbox Photo Op Mega Palette for the face and eyes since it can create looks for all occasions!

I have to be honest that this is quite a lot that I'm carrying with me for a trip. There are times when I will only bring a sunscreen, an eyeliner, and a powder foundation and out the door I go.

Happy Canada Day long weekend for everyone in Canada and for the rest of the world, enjoy your weekend.

See you tomorrow for the ELF Flawless Finish Foundation review.
